We find it particularly nice that our readers are not only New Yorkers AND that people from across the country get something out of AT. Even nicer when we hear back.
We recieved these pictures of the peonies outside of a readers house near St. Louis. They show the lifecycle from bud to blah. We like this kind of stuff. As Matt says, we believe in "flower power." Below is Jon's email. We have asked him to send pics so we can go to work on his house. (Thanks, Jon!) MGR
My wife and I live in an 1,100 sq. ft. stucco art & crafts bungalow (in an inner-ring suburb of St. Louis). The brick you can see in the extra picture is our foundation wall, which is actually built of large clay brick. We are getting ready to expand the unused attic into a full second floor (in permitting now). While I don't have a lot in common with most of your readers and our house isn't very modern (design-wise), I'm addicted to the site for the architecture and décor discussions. I was hooked in by the kitchen contest. Keep it up! Jon
