Photo Fabrics From A Home Laser Jet

A home printer can be used for more than just printing out random tax forms and hotel reservations when you travel. Instead, try using it in the craft room for small runs of custom fabric. In this Flickr find above, full photos were printed and the results are super intriguing.

Flickr member knitsteel has been testing out the effects of printing on Muslin fabrics with full out photos. In the past we've seen small labels or wording done (like in this Re-Nest post), but the all over design that the photo gives is a rather neat effect. Obviously things are a little lighter and less intense than the original photo probably illustrated, but it serves as a great reminder that electronics in our home can pull double duty!

Have you ever tried to print on fabrics at home? Let us know how things turned out in the comments below!
