Pink and brown had a brief stint as a popular color combo a couple of years ago, and it's been a while since we've seen it used as extensively as this. The George Hotel makes nice use of dark brown walls (a range of neutrals they describe as "chocolate to champagne") with the occasional coral-colored blanket or vase of pink flowers — a warm, cozy combo that works well in the bedroom.

Sibylle von Heyden (who also designed the 25 Hours Hotel, owned by the same company) got the inspiration for her design from English social clubs. The public areas are decorated with leather chairs and library shelves, while the private rooms are more modern, furnished with Eames rockers and herringbone throws. For a longer look at the rooms, check out the hotel online.
