Hello again and welcome to the last week of Apartment Therapy's Play Food Felt-a-Long. We've been making felt food gifts together in time for the holidays and now we've reached the sweet ending: dessert!

Popsicle, "Pop Up", "Choco Taco", Rocket Pop and Flavor Ices.

I decided to go with all frozen desserts: items from the ice cream truck along with two "Flavor Ices" - what your parents promised you could have at home after rejecting your pleas for a mondo Sponge Bob popsicle with bubble gum eyes.

I didn't use any tutorials for my frozen desserts. I just looked at some pictures of the real thing online and did my best to recreate them. A note about my "Pop Up" - I used a toilet paper roll and that worked out great. However, I haven't figured out how to secure the stick. When you push it up, all is well, but it comes out of the pop when you try to pull it back down. My kids still thought it was great fun, but I'm going to have to call this one a prototype.

Week 4 Assignment:

1. Make dessert items from the list of tutorials (or buy a pattern on Etsy or make something up yourself). Make as much or as little as you want: a pie, a few cookies, whatever you have time for and think your child would most enjoy.

2. (optional) Share/show off your work by tagging your food photos with #atfeltalong on Instagram or Twitter or email them to me and, if we get enough, I'll round them all up into a post.

3. Wrap 'em up for the holidays!

If you're brand new to this, I suggest starting with cookies. Round shapes are easy to work with and once you have the basic cookie mastered you can make all your favorites: chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar, etc.

If you get hung up, email me for help and I'll do my best!
