The New Polaroid as Décor

We admit it. We have, on occasion, bought a product merely because we wanted to show it off on our counter. There have been facial cleansers in cute jars displayed by the sink and milk in old-style bottles chilled in the fridge. So it's no surprise that we want to buy a old-but-new Polaroid instant film camera simply because of its wicked packaging.

The Polaroid 600 has been rereleased thanks to the fine folks who've made it their mission to bring instant film back. The Impossible's new iteration, the Polaroid 600 One Kit comes in beautiful packaging designed by the guy who originally dreamed up Polaroid's iconic packaging, Paul Giambarba.

Paul also designed the boxes for the group's film. Is it crazy that we also want to display these, along with the Polaroid 600 in our house? We envision the camera casually sitting on a bookshelf, while the boxed film hanging in empty frames like this. What do you think?
