Big news for small space dwellers: Pottery Barn just released a collection of multifunctional, size-conscious pieces that are the opposite of suburban sprawl.

Many of the new pieces find a way to help squeeze in storage in style, which is something that any size space can benefit from. Stackable shelving adapts to your needs, a floor mirror offers a place to hang your clothes and stash shoes, and a kitchen rail system has interchangeable knife blocks, baskets, and even an iPad holder. And the prices are accessible, especially when it comes to the upholstered pieces: The sleeper sofa is $699 and a storage chaise sectional is $1,099.

Pottery Barn is introducing this collection at a good time: Average single family home size in the U.S. is declining, according to the National Association of Home Builders.
