No matter how prepared you are, there are always those moments when you're ready to leave the house and your cell phone or iPod could use a quick charge before you go. Instead of worrying that you don't have enough juice, head on out to the beach or boardwalk on your bike — once you've made this cool voltage regulating USB hub, that is!

Instructables user doc1218 has been fine tuning this charger with several previous attempts and has finally put forth a device that has some serious capabilities when it comes to harnessing your own power to charge your devices. He's taken a USB car charger and connected it to a voltage regulator and a stepper motor that all gets mounted to the back wheel. The set up keeps the juice flowing in a steady stream and is sure to keep you jamming no matter how far your bike ride is slated for!
