The President’s Day Sofa Sales To Shop This Weekend

How are you planning on celebrating President’s Day? (Besides listening to the Hamilton soundtrack, of course.) If you’re lucky, you’ll have Monday off. But unlike most other three-day weekends, there aren’t President’s Day get-togethers or traditions. Unless you count the not-so-official tradition of shopping online sales. Which, thankfully, is something we can all do, even if you don’t get Monday off. It’s an especially good time to keep an eye out for deals on larger buys, like furniture. Ahead, some of our favorite sales we’ll be keeping an eye on over the long weekend.

• ABC Home—The NYC luxury home goods is currently offering an additional 15% off all sale items as part of its “Metamorphosis” sale with the code EXTRA15. All items are final sale, but include as much as $2,000 off on couches like the Irving Place Windsor Grand.
• Birch Lane–The online retailer, which already offers daily deals, currently has an additional 15% off all furniture through Monday with code AMERICA. Prices start at under $300.
• Houzz–Houzz’s President’s Day sale includes up to 80% off home decor and furniture. The sale runs through February 25, and includes love seats and couches starting at under $200.
• Joybird–A one-stop shop for completely customizable midcentury modern pieces, Joybird starts with 15% off everything, then 20% off purchases over $1,499, going up to 30%. That means you can snag any of our editor’s picks at at least 20% off.
• Lulu & Georgia–If you’ve wanted that thrift store find look without actually having to go to the thrift store, consider Lulu & Georgia your one-stop-shop for unique home goods. Its Long Weekend Short Sale deal means 20% off all couches, like this millennial-pink-meets-vintage-Hollywood sofa.
• Macy’s–The department store is offering President’s Day deals on everything from beauty to furniture, though some of their best deals are actually running a little longer. Through March 11, you can get as much as $400 off some already affordable midcentury modern couches like this one as part of its Big Home Sale.
• Target–Target is offering 15% off select sofas with the code “GEORGE,” including some of its more design-forward options from Project 62.
• West Elm–West Elm has up to 40% select couches through the long weekend. Since couch prices are often dependent on pricing, discounts will vary, and finding the best deals can take a little poking around. Once you select the fabric, the original and discounted price will display at the bottom.
