It’s almost time for the Academy Awards, so now’s the time to prep for your party, and get your Oscar ballots ready for guests! Before the ceremony begins, have guests record their selections and then tally how well they throughout the night. Read on for the rules and a printable ballot!

Scoring System: For each category, have your guests record their first and second choices. If the winner is their first choice, they receive ALL possible points associated with that category. If the actual winner is your guest’s second choice, award HALF of the points for that category. The maximum number of points possible for this ballot is 810.

Optional House Rules: Either require guests to complete their entire ballot before the ceremony starts, or allow changes up to the time the actual category is announced.

Prizes: Award little tokens of appreciation to the people with the highest three scores of the night. You know what makes a great prize? Movie tickets, that’s what.
