Priority Bicycles Has Released a New Collection Inspired by Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year
Earlier this week, Pantone announced its 2022 Color of the Year as Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri, a periwinkle blue with a violet-red undertone that has been created specifically for its most recent Color of the Year announcement. For the second year running, Priority Bicycles has partnered up with the iconic name in fashion, product, and design for a limited capsule collection inspired by Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year.
Each of the three hand-painted bicycles is inspired by the essence of the Color of the Year, delivering the energy, excitement, and confidence of Very Peri to tackle the day on two wheels.
“We are thrilled to celebrate year two of our partnership with Pantone as they unveil Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri, a perfect fit as an incredibly dynamic and emotive color,” says Lauren Jones, Director of Partnerships for Priority Bicycles, in a press release announcing the collection. “By designing a collection around Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri we are able to put into motion the endless possibilities and joyful spirit that the color embodies.”
The Priority Bicycles x Pantone Color of the Year 2022 collection offers Priority’s 3-speed recreational bicycle, “Gotham” ($649); single-speed beach cruiser, “Coast” ($649); and the agile 7-speed commuter model, “L Train” ($800). Each hand-painted bicycle features iconic Pantone branding on the seat tube and flagship Priority features like the rust and grease-free Gates Carbon Drive belt, in place of a traditional chain.
The Priority Bicycles x Pantone Color of the Year 2022 capsule is available for pre-order starting today at prioritybicycles.com/pantone, while supplies last.
