When Queen Elizabeth II sits down to make her annual holiday address to TV cameras, she takes a cue from her lively collection of family photographs on her desk. Turns out, she’s not playing favorites with the photos that are displayed.

According to people.com, this year the queen had photographs of Prince Philip from their 70th anniversary, the great-grandkids Princess Charlotte and Prince George, as well as recently-engaged Prince Harry along with his lovely fiancee, Meghan Markle (on the table to the left of the fireplace, along with a photo of Charles and Camilla).

“We think of our homes as places of warmth, familiarity and love; of shared stories and memories, which is perhaps why at this time of year so many return to where they grew up,” the Queen told the cameras. “There is a timeless simplicity to the pull of home.”

But back in 2013 when Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first child, Prince George first landed into the royal stratosphere, it seems there wasn’t a photograph of the little one to place on the Queen’s desk. This would have been a glaring omission that the Brits watching at home would certainly notice, considering it was George’s first Christmas.

However, People reports that an aide that was quick on her feet managed to save the day by hauling it down to the gift shop in Buckingham Palace and grabbing an official image from George’s christening of the little one, flanked by his father and grandfather Prince Charles and the Queen. It was quickly put into a frame just in time for the cameras to roll. Now that’s a photo finish.
