Quick Quiz: What's Your "State" of Mind?

Does your personality fit where you've chosen to live? Over more than a decade, researchers surveyed 1.6 million Americans to create personality profiles by state. Curious to know which state is the best match to your personality? There's a quiz for that...

In broadest terms they defined three groups of states and three general states of mind: New England/Mid-Atlantic (“temperamental and uninhibited”), South/Midwest (“friendly and conventional”) and West Coast/Rocky Mountains/Sun Belt (“relaxed and creative”).

I'm helpless against online quizzes so when a friend posted a link to this on Facebook, of course I clicked. It's quick - just 10 questions - so take it and come back if you want to share your result and your impression of your result.

I've lived in New York City for almost twenty years and my result came back..D.C. Hmmmnnn...I do like free museums.

Time's accompanying article (at the same link as above) pulled out some interesting data from the study (led by psychologist Jason Rentfrow and published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology) including that the least neurotic state is Utah and people in South Carolina are most likely to finish their homework on time.

So, what did you think of your quiz result?
