Re-Babe Cradle

To cradle or not to cradle. That has been the subject of much debate. One of the main concerns seems to be longevity of the thing. The Re-Babe cradle may cause those teetering on the verge to give cradles a second look.

Designed by Berlin-based design initiative e27, the Re-Babe has a life beyond modern cradle. Once baby is too too big for the cradle, attach the saddle (included) to change the cradle into a modern rocking horse (Re-horse). Use the bassinet as toy, clothes or diaper storage.

The Re-babe offers another option - it attaches to the Re-tire rocking chair so mom or dad can rock together with baby.

The Re-babe ($396.34) and Re-tire ($718.20) are made of stainless steel. The woven cradle, saddle and seat are available in either a light or dark basket weave. Both are available here.
