Look! Rechargeable Batteries That Are Ready When You Are

Strolling through our local Kansas City Costco this weekend we ran across these Eneloop Batteries from Sanyo. Their packaging was white, bright and seductive the same way Apple products are. It called to us from across the aisle and we went in a little closer to investigate and we're glad we did!

We have a love/hate relationship with rechargeable batteries. We always end up having them in the house for when we need them, but they're never (ever) charged and we end up waiting up to several hours for their power to charge up.

These bad boys hold up to a 75% charge for 3 years, ensuring they're always ready when you are. Each one can be charged 1,500 times, which we're pretty sure is more than anyone will ever need a battery in their lifetime, unless you're still kicking it old school with a portable CD player for your tunes.

They'd be a great addition to your emergency kits, camping kits, tool chest or that kitchen drawer that accumulates all of those "important" things that don't get used as often as they should be. There are 12 AA and AAA batteries included for the $25.99 price tag on the shelf.

Do you have a set of rechargeables that you've fallen in love with? Share your brand in the comments below!
