Yes, the books Reese Witherspoon recommends are fun reads — she’s just binged the true crime novel “The Christie Affair” by Nina de Gramont. But one of the best parts about following along with Reese’s Book Club is getting to see all the cozy spots around Witherspoon’s home that she loves to read in.

Last month, Witherspoon shared one of her book nooks with matching wallpaper and upholstery, and now this month she’s curling up on a fantastic yellow floral couch in a den-like navy room. The decor inspiration is honestly overwhelming.

Though Witherspoon has shared so many light and airy rooms from inside her home, this space is dark and moody, yet the navy still aligns with her coastal blue color scheme.

To cheer up the intense dark blue, Witherspoon brought in a bright couch upholstered in a yellow version of Brunschwig & Fils’ Verrieres Glazed Chintz — a favorite pattern of Witherspoon’s interior designer Mark D. Sikes.

This print is readily available in the blue-and-white colorway, but the yellow pattern seems to be a special order. Sikes loves this vintage print so much that he dedicated an Instagram post to it, writing “so timeless and beautiful. They need to bring this emerald green color way back.”

It’s clear to see where the matchy-matchy wallpaper and upholstery idea came from.

To add a pop of yellow in your own reading room, this oversized chair and matching ottoman from Andover Mills is bright, cheery, and looks like a summer day.

The books are great, and the nooks are even better.
