Relentlessly Cheerful Art by James Hance

We recently got a tip from a reader about an artist who creates the most fantastic paintings and prints. Imagine a mash-up of Star Wars, Winnie the Pooh, superheroes, and muppets in styles that vary from realism to Picasso-esque to children's literature illustrations. Yes, he's that awesome. And keep reading to find out another huge reason to add one of his pieces to your collection.

James Hance is certainly a master at wrapping our old childhood memories into beautiful pieces of art, but that's not the only reason to click over to his shop and buy one. He recently posted that his 6 year old daughter, Madison, is suffering from a rare intestinal disorder and has to travel across the country to seek treatment at Children's Hospital in Boston. Insurance won't cover the out of state trip, so he's hoping that proceeds from his "ridiculous doodles" will help pay for her expenses. Ridiculous doodles? Yeah, he's being modest.

There are so many to chose from, and the prices are super reasonable. Go check them out at his website, Relentlessly Cheerful Art.
