Only 2,600 people live in the icy hinterlands of Svalbard, Norway. Svein Nordahl lives in a cabin five miles from the closest town near no roads, without running water, yet has fiber-optic broadband internet service. Nordahl struck a deal with the provider, who wasn't originally going to extend service to the remote cabins of Bjørndalen, to drag the cables himself.
