Repurposing 101: How To Make This Into That

Repurposing 101: How To Make This Into That

I've always admired people with a knack for repurposing, the ones who can go to an antique store or garage sale and see endless potential in somebody else's old stuff. Kasey and Jordana Henke, the co-owners of an Etsy shop selling vintage goods, are two such people, and they've generously shared some of their ideas with us. From our video archives, here are three fun (and really simple!) repurposing projects.

First, from Kasey, this clever idea for making a shoe form into a lamp. The instructions are really simple, making this a great project even for the DIY-challenged.

From Jordana, a clever idea for repurposing an old rake head.

And finally, how to make a photo holder from an old doorknob. It's a really simple and inexpensive project that will give your home a little vintage charm.

Thanks for watching, and happy crafting!

• More About The Stars: Kasey and Jordana Henke bid against each other at an auction in rural Iowa a few years ago, and life has never been the same. Since then they got married, had two kids, and started having sales on their farm which eventually led to a farm store and Etsy shop called Rescued Junk. To find out more about their farm sales, visit their Facebook page.
