Nothing like some sleek, clean lines and a muted palette to create a modern living room home theater that's both minimalistic and highly functional in nature. Designed by H23, an architecture and design firm based in Toronto, the residence keeps wires to a minimum, comfortable entertainment to the max!
He H23 residence is located in Kunming, China and was a project developed soon after the homeowners moved in. Since budget was an issue, much of the work was done by H23 company themselves, hiring only a number of local carpenters to learn how they build the designs H23 created.
To hide the wires and home theater junk, the homeowners invested in an extra long and functional console table area along the media wall for equipment such as receivers, Blu-ray players, and gaming systems. Also, to compliment the security system (little white wall devices to the left of the TV), a large glossy white media cabinet was placed right below it. A clever use of furniture, to say the least.
And now... the fabulously, non-tech related staircase.
