Restore Refill Station

Restore Refill Station

We really hope that we like this laundry detergent. Because if it cleans well, we will be able to really reduce how much plastic we bring home every month. Here's why:

Restore has an automatic refill station. Just bring back your empty container and pop it into the machine. A bar code reader lets the machine know which non-toxic and earth-friendly product you want (laundry, dish, dishwasher, gentle soap, spray and clean). The station fills it up AND prints you a $1.00 off coupon at the same time.

We just picked up a sample of the laundry detergent on Wednesday (at the opening of the new Sunflower Market) and plan to give it a try with our next load of wash. We would love to get into the habit of just reusing and refilling and think we'd keep two in rotation (it's no fun to run out on a icy morning).

Restore Refill Stations in Chicago at the Whole Foods on Ashland and Sunflower Market on Clybourn.
