Not that we need any more snowflakes here on the East coast, but here is a cute idea that we couldn't resist. Spending lots of time indoors warming up in between sledding sessions means lots of time for cutting paper snowflakes. But besides taping them to windows, what else can you do with them?

We love this window panel spotted over at Design Sponge. Just tape a bunch of paper snowflakes together and hang over a window for a lacey effect. Or create a hanging light shade (a la Tord Boontje). It's chic-looking decor created by your kids!
