We received this impressive peek inside architect Ricardo Bofill's Barcelona home and office via LoftLife — it's an abandoned cement factory that Bofill found in 1973 and has adapted to highlight the industrial past and his own unique design aesthetic...

The expansive home is ruin-like — this is only accented by the impressive gardens and plantings that surround the factories former buildings and silos. Just look at this giant raw space!

From LoftLife: Today, the factory has been successfully transformed into his personal home, as well as a multitude of offices, modeling and archival laboratories, a projection room, and a huge space known as 'The Cathedral', which serves as a venue for subsequent exhibitions, lectures, and concerts.

You can see more pictures at Ricardo Bofill's site and from LoftLife | Loft Tour: The Cement Factory.
