Can you guess the cultural (pop or otherwise) reference that inspired these four architecturally curious buildings?

Clockwise from top left:

Death By Pink. Go slowly insane in this Hello Kitty House. For rent in Taiwan.

Nerd Alert. the Hobbit Motel, which was, natch, inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's book. Not surprisingly, it is located in New Zealand. Via Flavor Wire.

Nerd Alert II. If the Hobbit hotel got you all hot and bothered, you may also be titilated to hear about this $10 million home on the coast of Queensland, Australia, which was inspired by Star Trek's Starship Enterprise. It has "endless open space" and a theater decorated with a space image taken from the Hubble telescope. Photo: Max Walls International for the Wall Street Journal.

Wilmaaaaa! The Flintstones house from the 60s cartoon has apparently inspired numerous imitations; but this one, in Malibu, was also owned by TV host Dick Clark. This Spring it was on the market for $3.5 million. Via Entertainment Designer.

If you had an architect design you a home based on a book, movie, TV show or cultural phenomenon, what would it be?
