As people begin to re-book travel plans with caution, hotels are reimagining what it means to provide exceptional customer service. For Hotel Trio in Healdsburg, California, that experience includes a new-age approach to contactless delivery; Rosé the Robot.

Here’s how it works: the robot concierge makes its way onto the elevator, wine in “hand,” baring a message that reads, I’m on a guest delivery. Rosé isn’t limited to bottle service; she also drops off towels, toiletries, and other pick-me-ups that you might request throughout your stay.

Hotel Trio isn’t new to contactless delivery. The northern California hotel introduced Rosé upon opening in 2018 and she has since been a huge hit amongst hotel guests. “In addition to Rosé being super helpful, people absolutely love her,” said Brooke Ross, director of sales and marketing at Hotel Trio, told Sonoma Magazine. “We have a beautiful lobby, a really great bar, bocce balls that light up when you play at night, but Rosé is hands down the most frequently photographed feature of our hotel.”

The treasured employee was developed by robot manufacturer, Savioke, and is one of many making its way through hotel hallways nationwide. As travelers lean into safer ways to travel, Rosé has seemingly set the bar high.
