Rosie O’Donnell knows a thing or two about real estate. The former TV chat host has amassed a series of properties up and down the eastern seaboard, and two of those recently hit the market. Both located in a prime riverside enclave of Nyack, New York, just about an hour outside of the city, the homes are currently listed for $1,800,000 and $1,600,000 with Christie’s International Real Estate.

The first property is a four-bed, three-and-a-half bath colonial-style home set on almost one-half acre of space. The 2,892-square-foot house is a truly historic property, originally built in 1900. Tucked behind gates, a large garden with a grand stone staircase welcomes guests to the property. Fully restored to embrace its utmost potential, the house now boasts a three-sided veranda overlooking the waves of the Hudson River and the new Mario Cuomo Bridge.

Step inside to the entry foyer, where a classic antique staircase cascades upward. A wood burning fireplace crackles nearby, and a French door opens to the riverfront veranda. A spacious kitchen with a large center island has crafted cabinetry, granite counter tops, and a French door that opens to the veranda, while the gracious formal dining room features a unique coffered ceiling and seated bay window. The master suite is equally as stunning, with a private sitting room, fireplace, and luxurious en-suite bathroom.

Next door, the second property is a three-bed, three-and-a-half bath contemporary home with a prime location on the riverside. Measuring 2,913 square feet, the home, which was built in 1918, begins in the elegant entry foyer. It leads to a beautifully oversized living room, with 12-foot coffered mahogany ceilings, a wood-burning mahogany fireplace, and a wall of windows overlooking the Hudson. Step out the French door onto the spacious riverside deck, which continues down to a 100-foot boat dock.

Back inside, the brand new chef’s kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, granite countertops, and mahogany cabinets. A family room provides an additional fireplace, as well as sliding glass doors that forge an easy path from the deck down to the dock. All baths are recently renovated to perfection with marble and tile accents, including the luxe master bath. The rest of the master suite is equally as stunning, with casement windows, a fireplace, and a wall of French doors that lead out to another riverfront deck.

O’Donnell buys and sells properties like they’re hotcakes. Last year, she listed her sprawling $6 million mansion in Saddle River, New Jersey, a $5 million property in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a $9 million penthouse in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, which she ditched because of its lack of privacy, the New York Post reported. These days, she’s spending her time at an $8 million penthouse in the Midtown East neighborhood. Hey, a girl’s got to have options!
