112008jewelry-08.jpgBecause we like to wear the same type of clothing on a daily basis, the jewelry we wear tends to also stay the same. We hardly ever take off our necklace and wear a ring that our grandmother passed down to us–same story with the earrings. While we like to wear the same thing everyday, it wouldn’t be difficult to switch our jewelry up a bit–if only it was displayed. Because of our small space, our jewelry boxes live in the top corner of our closet (not the best place to keep our bling if we wanted to actually wear it). We’ve rounded up some creative jewelry display options (to better our chances of accessing our gems) after the jump.

[Image From Heather Ulrich] We’re definitely get a great vibe from this idea using a branch to display jewelry. You could also spray paint the branch white and put it in a vase if you’d rather not hang it on the wall.
Faux Marble Bust from Blueprint This is another magazine article we’ve been hanging onto for inspiration. We’d love to incorporate this jewelry display idea into our space.
House Tour: Jennifer’s Cool and Kitschy Austin Home Jennifer uses a miniature mannequin to display earrings and broaches and adds a corkboard above for necklaces and bracelets.
flickr Finds: Solaanas Jewelry Storage This is a great storage idea (not only because it looks clean and neat) but it’s also utilizing wall space which saves space in a small bedroom.
Ice Tray Jewelry Storage; Image from Alexandra Rowley Most of us have ice trays in our home (and don’t ever use them). This is a great idea to corral small bits like rings and earrings.
Bins and Muffin Tins from Ohdeedoh A size up from the ice tray, the muffin tin can also corral small items. Here, they’re mixing it up, storing jewelry and hair accessories.
