Roundup: Stylish USB Card Readers

While we're still waiting for wireless card memory to take off completely, it doesn't hurt to have an attractive card reader available for use when you need to read some data off the standard flash memory cards that seem to be as ubiquitous as floppies back in our day. We've rounded up a number of slick options if you're lookin' to invest in one, but don't want the technological eyesore that tends to accompany having a USB card reader on your desk.

The SanDisk ImageMate All-In-one and Multi-Card reader seen above was recently released and features "two of the fastest USB readers, capable of transferring 1-gigabyte of data in less than 35 seconds."

The Griffin Simplifi combines an iPod/iPhone dock with a CF card/Memory Stick/SD/xD reader, as well as with two powered USB ports.

A similar black version without the dock is made by Sitecom and features a 63-In-1 card reader. Though, to be honest, we can't even think of 63 different types of flash memory off the top of our heads...

Another route would be to use it to add a punch of color to your all-aluminum/piano black setup with I-Rock's sleek and colorful 12-in-1 card reader offerings.

The Nervian CardReader Pro manages to stay out of the way, yet it commands a gracious "Wow!" as soon as you spot it.

The Podera USB Hub, winner of the iF Product Design Award, is a 4 port USB hub does not require a power supply and is available in a number of colors.

Have a favorite card reader that boasts just as much design as it does function? Let us know in the comments!
