Royal Oak Floors Shows Off its Wood

Ah, wood. There's something so warm and inviting about the material. We often see it on floors and ceilings, but in the days of drywall and plaster, it's rare to find it on our walls. It's even more rare to find a wooden wall where a small knook has been created to accommodate a flat screen.

The above is a snapshot from Royal Oak Floors by Harper & Sandilands' South Yarra, Australia showroom. While their name only speaks of what we walk on, the company also creates wood paneling, solid moldings, and cabinetry. We love the combination of the floating feel of a mounted TV within the small nook, which helps minimize the TV's visual footprint.
