Royal/T: Combining Art, Concept Shop, and Cafe

Royal/T gives me an outlet to experience great design, art, food, and small furnishings at the same location. You can find me there fixated on the original Warhol art while enjoying my veggie garden burger and sweet potato fries. The owner of Royal/T, Susan Hancock, lends her personal collection of original contemporary art to the space.

The art exhibits and concept shop changes periodically. The current exhibit is the Warholian, which features famous works by Andy Warhol. For the concept shop, welcome Emily the Strange, a fictional counterculture character first created in 1991. She may tell you to "Get Lost," but feel welcome to explore the store and maybe even pick up a few gifts.

The concept for the space was inspired by the maid cafes in Tokyo. Has anyone been to any of these cafes?
