Samsung's New Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

If you've ever wanted an upgrade from your trusty old Roomba, then the Furot from Samsung might be it. It's a given that vacuum cleaning isn't something that everyone likes to do. Also, homes get messy quickly and having a robot around to do your chores really frees up your time.

This new robot vacuum cleaner is made by Samsung and it's called the Furot II. It's going to come with a built-in camera with some software that will enable it to see its environment, remember the layout, and take decisions thanks to its programming. This is a step up from the Roomba. The Furot II will be able to tell you where it is at any point in time thanks to its camera and sensors since it works within a wireless network. Its charge lasts about 90 minutes. Whenever it runs low on power, it will head back to its charging station before continuing where it left off. That sounds kind of amazing.

The device comes with a HEPA 11 filter and boasts high suction power, a two-sided brush as well as a low noise level. As Anthony reported earlier this year, the great thing about these vacuum robots is that they force you to keep your place uncluttered so that the robot can vacuum clean the floor. The Roomba has been around for years and it's great to see that we will have an improved vacuum cleaning robot among us in a short while. No release date or price has been revealed.
