Even the North Pole has gone virtual. To commemorate this strange holiday season, Yankee Candle has launched a Santa Cam to let people peek into Santa Claus’ workshop from the safety of their own homes. From now until Christmas Eve, children (and adults!) could watch Santa build toys, enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate, examine his naughty and nice list, read letters and the North Pole News to stay informed on current events, eat cookies, and take naps all through the festive Santa Cam, available at

That’s not all. Between the prime hours of 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Santa will also partake in extra activities such as learning a TikTok dance (yes, you read that correctly—learning a TikTok dance), sketching a portrait of good ol’ Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, and partaking in a Zoom call—because not even Father Christmas is exempt from excessive Zoom meetings that could have been an email. There’s also a Santa Cam highlights section that includes archived footage of anything you may have missed so far, such as the story book intro, Santa signing on, and Santa picking wrapping paper with help from an elf.

Yankee’s Santa Cam corresponds with the candle brand’s collection of festive holiday scents this year, such as Santa’s Cookie, Holiday Hearth, and Singing Carols. What’s more, Yankee also released a collection of virtual holiday backgrounds of Santa’s workshop to make those Zoom holiday parties all the more festive this year. So, go forth little holiday elves, and tune into the Santa Cam now through Dec. 24 on Is there anything more magical than Santa taking on TikTok dances and Zoom meetings?
