We highlighted Sarah's Delightful Dresser Redo last month, and now we are excited to share the gallery wall she created on her staircase. For folks who want to highlight family photos, this is an excellent example of a photo display that takes advantage of space that is otherwise often overlooked.
One of reasons this display works so well is that it looks like it grew organically; there is certainly space to add new pictures over time without overwhelming the space. The mix of sizes, shapes and styles of frames is another key element, especially when paired with the decision to use only black frames. Combining black and white with color pictures, and portraits with landscapes also helps to keep this gallery wall from looking too formal.
