Vienna's Altstadt is one of those rare hotels that looks like someone could possibly live there. Rooms are decorated in varying styles, from mid-century to borderline baroque, but the thread tying the entire place together is a consistent use of deep, saturated color...
Milan-based architect Matteo Thun renovated much of the hotel, which is located in an old Viennese townhouse. Jewel tones are used for furniture, artwork, and walls, with an emphasis on rich reds and mustard yellows.
