This year's Room for Color contest was chock-full of gorgeous entries. So much color inspiration! If you've found palettes that you want to keep for future projects or for inspiration, we've placed a Sherwin-Williams Chip It! button on top of each entry to make it super-easy to capture and save palettes from any Room for Color entry. Here's a slideshow of some of your most-favorited entries, complete with their Sherwin-Williams color chips — which will you chip?
Room For Color entries are like snowflakes — every one is unique and beautiful in its own way. Still, there are a few common threads running through the most favorited entries. Here are a couple of the trends we've spotted:
Deep Saturation: We're seeing so many gorgeous, rich hues this year — people are definitely not shying away from bold color! Colors we keep seeing include fuschia, teal, cobalt blue, navy blue, charcoal and golden yellow.
Filtered Neutrals: The counterpoint to the saturation trend is restful rooms in hazy colors. Pale grays, mossy greens and tea-stained creams work are sweet and sophisticated in an industrial loft or a cozy farmhouse.
Bold Combinations: People are playing with color, decorating rooms with a handful of colors instead of just one or two. It's inspirational to see these risks paying off again and again, showing us that there's always "room for color!"
Which is your favorite trend? Tell us in the comments!
