One of the most important tasks parents face is figuring out what artwork and mementos to keep and what to toss. Save nothing or too little and you worry you'll regret it in the future. Save everything and your house is overrun. We really like the method Stephanie came up with for saving her little ones' mementos.
She bought a large number of kraft envelopes in a size that works well for a variety of paper treasures. When a child's pile reaches a certain size, she puts everything into the envelope and then labels it with the contents. Each envelope can then be easily stored in a box. It's simple but effective. You can read more about Stephanie's method over at her blog Stephmodo. If you've got a foolproof method for saving your children's mementos, please share with us in the comments.
