Scavenger: Handcrafted Two-Tiered Bookcase for $200

Straight out of the 70's. We like the fact that this
two-tiered bookcase comes from a loving past:

My step-dad had it made in the 70s by a carpenter in the Adirondacks for his log cabin. They are extremely well made and very sturdy and put any pressed particle crap to shame.

And we also like that a relationship is being held in the balance:

I hate to give them up but my boyfriend cannot stand anything pine and promised me a nice new couch if I get rid of them. The couch wins.

Our only question is how NICE a couch he is going to deliver... (picture please...). (Thanks, Alison!) MGR
