Now You Can Serve Dinner on Your Favorite Schumacher Pattern
Schumacher has been the biggest name in wallpaper and fabric for 130 years. Now, you can enjoy your favorite patterns in even more ways. Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home just launched a collaboration with the legendary American design house that includes 45 products ranging from furniture and bedding to home decor and wall art. What’s especially exciting is the collection also features dinnerware and entertaining pieces, marking the first time Schumacher’s iconic patterns have been available on such pieces.
Speaking of Schumacher’s patterns, the line was inspired by some of the design house’s most popular ones, including signature ikats, Chiang Mai Dragon, Bixi Dragon, Chinois Fret, and Scallop Filigree. The Williams Sonoma design team took these well-known prints and reinterpreted them in new and creative ways.
“Seeing some of our most loved patterns translated into dinnerware and other decorative accessories has been very exciting,” says Dara Caponigro, Creative Director at Schumacher, according to a press release sent to Apartment Therapy. “The whole collection has an exuberance that will add joy to any room—and that’s something we really believe in at Schumacher—that great design transforms the way we live and, most importantly, the way we feel.”
You can find Chiang Mai Dragon, a chinoiserie motif inspired by an art deco print, on everything from bedding to mugs to a champagne bucket. Personally, we’re big fans of the cereal bowls.
Another popular print is Bixi Dragon, a chinoiserie pattern you can find on chairs, table linens, and bedding, like this duvet cover.
The Schumacher x Williams Sonoma collection is now available online at Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home, plus at all retail locations. Additionally, a few select pieces will be available exclusively online, so add your favorite patterns to your cart before they’re gone.
