Take the idea behind the TwelveSouth BackPack and apply it to a flat panel HDTV and you get the idea for the Able Bay, Inc. ScreenDeck. Using the VESA holes available on the majority of HDTV sets today, the ScreenDeck create an additional space for a center speaker, Wii or Kinect Sensor, web cam, or any tech peripheral that needs to be front and center and maximizing space.

Right now the ScreenDeck will be available retail for 37"-47" flat screen televisions in early February, with additional sizes soon to be released. Two cable routing clips come included with each setup, helping keep your setup looking neat and orderly (running wires behind the HDTV should make this fairly easy). Not a bad idea. Pre-sale for $39.95 via Amazon right now.
