Step inside of actor and singer Selena Gomez’s modern kitchen as she expands her résumé to include one more skill: chef. The “Rare” singer will headline her own quarantine cooking show “Selena + Chef,” set to premiere on HBO Max on Aug. 13, as she learns recipes and cooks alongside world-renowned chefs. Roy Choi, Angelo Sosa, Antonia Lofaso, Candice Kumai, Daniel Holzman, Jon & Vinny, Ludo Lefebvre, Nancy Silverton, Nyesha Arrington, and Tonya Holland will make virtual appearances from the safety of their own homes to guide Gomez through some quarantine recipes, like Korean breakfast tacos, the perfect omelette, and seafood tostada.

While this is delicious news in itself, we’re more excited to step inside of Gomez’s stunning, contemporary kitchen, as glimpsed in the “Selena + Chef” trailer. For one, it’s freakin’ massive. But, secondly, the modern design and decor touches belong on a Pinterest mood board. The white brick! The marble countertops! The blue velvet stools! The blush-pink mixer! The space has clean, white cabinets; a stainless steel stove and oven; white and grey marble countertop patterns; and a dreamy white brick-stone arch above the stove. Velvet blue chairs with gold finishing sit under the island. In sum, it’s just about the best place to chop octopuses and set the inside of the oven on fire.

Gomez purchased singer Tom Petty’s former mansion in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles in April—a property that was custom built for Petty and his wife in 1989, according to the Realtor listing. With over 11,000 square feet, it has six bedrooms, a recording studio, gym, wine cellar, and outdoor pool. She shared a photo of her botanical wallpaper-lined music room from her new home on Instagram earlier this week, revealing that she’s been settling into her new abode in quarantine.

Simply put, we can’t wait to glimpse more of Gomez’s home design choices while she chops, sautés, and taste tests alongside some famous chefs in “Selena + Chef.”
