Even if they're rechargeable, batteries are just...not...green. Unfortunately they power many of the gadgets that make our life much more comfortable, like our TV's remote control. Despite our love of everything Mad Men, the idea of going back to a time when you had to get your butt off of the couch or out of your warm bed to change the channel or the volume is so not appealing. Hmm...how to reconcile convenience with conscience? The answer's in a remote control that's powered by a flick of the wrist...

Hold down the button and shake the clear ergonomically-designed device. A magnet provides a surge of power each time. A few months of this and we'd have arms to rival Madonna's and might give new meaning to the term couch potato.
