Color Inspiration from a Singer-Songwriter

While perusing the winter issue of the great magazine Austin Monthly Home, we came across the brilliantly bold home of singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin. We're bowled over by the color, texture and pattern choices we spotted.

Located in Central Austin, Shawn Colvin's home is an example of how lots of textures, patterns and color can come together to create quite an exciting and liveable space. Designed by local interior designer Jerri Kunz, Colvin herself has quite the eye for design, always picking up fun art and objects from all of her travels. It was because of this large collection of great finds that she needed help pulling it all together. Known for her skills and her penchant for style, Kunz was a natural choice for help.

You'll want to check out the latest issue of Austin Monthly Home to get lots of great detail information, like actual colors used in the home and for info on where some fabrics and materials were purchased. Also, you'll want to see all the gorgeous photos (taken by Ryann Ford) for inspiration!
