Instead of digging through your old box of recipe cards, Pillsbury is trying to make your holiday baking easier this year by letting you Shazam their "Holiday Ideas Made Easy" commercials to get recipes sent straight to your phone. We used Shazam on their commercial the other day - read on for the details.
The commercial is only 15 seconds long, so if you want to grab the recipe off it, make sure you have your phone ready and the Shazam app open. If you want to skip that hassle, it also works when you watch the commercial on YouTube.
Upon using Shazam on the Pillsbury commercial, you get a set of four recipes: Crescent-Wrapped Brie, Bacon-Cheddar Pinwheels, Mini Crescent Dogs and Chocolate-Filled Crescents - basically four ways to use their crescent rolls (all of which sound pretty mouth-watering). You can tap to see the recipe and ingredients for each, and two of the recipes come with instructional videos.
You can also click into more Holiday Recipe Ideas, which takes you to Pillsbury mobile site. We like the idea of having simple recipes sent to your phone upon watching a commercial.
