Shoe Box Puppet Theater

Shoe Box Puppet Theater

If you've got an old shoe box, you've pretty much got all you need for this simple puppet theater...a great prop for open-ended, imaginative play.

Just cut out a hole from the base of the box, decorate, and you can even string up paper curtains across the front. Someone can even hold or position a flashlight as a spotlight if it's later in the day. We loved doing this as a child. The puppets themselves will have to be relatively small- think paper cut outs on popsicle sticks or felt hand puppets.
