Vintage Pair Modernist Chrome & Tufted Armchairs – $345 – This is a fantastic & fairly scarce pair of later mid 20C Modernist Steel & Pleat-tufted armchairs in fantastic original/unrestored condition. No designer attribution but I believe these were made circa’70 in Italy. The slick & laid back forms are matched by remarkable comfort & high quality production. Elliptical tubular steel frames are without scratching, dings, rust/pitting, or any detractions. The minimal hardware-visible on chair backs- adds a smart, industrial modernist element to these minimal forms. – NYC
