You surely will recognize the work of designers Linda Wary and John Meyers of Wary Meyers. The design duo's work has been featured in Domino, Time Out New York and have even shown up in our inspirational feature, Roomarks. They get all of their materials from garage sales and flea markets and The New York Times follows them as they shop around their home in Portland, Maine...
The Wary Meyers aesthetic embraces mid-century modern and danish design (check out their popular Painted Eames Shell Chair) but the pair creates many of their own designs using salvaged parts. The table above is made from a Tulip chair base they purchased for $1 and a slab of wood they got for $5.
