Aunt Sadie's: Colorful Kitsch in the South End

I admit I'm a tough person to shop for. Like most homeys, I'm particular about what gets displayed in my house. So when it comes to shopping for other decor addicts, I panic. That's where Aunt Sadie's comes in. Over the years, it has become my go-to source for hostess gifts, birthday presents, housewarming gifts, and the occasional self-indulgence.

They carry just the right mix of fun and functional home items — from adorable aprons, pot holders, and tea towels to retro style clocks, colorful dishes and serving ware, kitschy collectibles, quirky kids stuff and, of course, their signature poured candles, which come in unique fragrances like bread, bacon, pipe tobacco, and martini.

Whether stocking up for the season or popping in for a last-minute gift, the cheeky displays, friendly staff, and lovely South End location always make the trip to Aunt Sadie's a pleasurable experience.
