The result of creative efforts by Daniel Kron and Geane Brito, Genius Jones is a Miami-based shop which offers, according to their own words "Design for a New Generation." There is such a huge variety of items that Genius Jones carries -- from both well-known companies like Duc Duc, Stokke and Netto, as well as more obscure designers and companies -- one can easily lose track of time at their site. Here were some of our favorite picks...

We love how sweet their Millefiori Ceiling Lamp, $75.00, is. It's an unexpected look for a more traditional lamp.

Being huge fans of Yoshitomo Nara, we think the My Sweet Dog, $84, wooden pull toy is awesome. More of a collector's item than a toy, we'd definitely love to snatch up one of these.

DwellStudio's Dots Backpack, $66.00, comes in a wonderful pattern and with a matching pencil case. (Although we do admit, we have a soft spot for circular patterns.)

The Geneva Sound XL System and Stand, $1,449.00, is all high-tech and glory (it features a CD player, iPod port, FM radio and serves as a receiver for computers, record players and TVs) but we just love how it looks. This thing is gorgeous.

Haul Tote's Beetle bag, $175.00, is a snazzy and a luxurious alternative to a diaper bag.

Another from Dwell is the whisper soft stroller blanket, $45.00, in the carousel bloom pattern. Made of 100% cotton percale with 100% cotton terry on the other side, this blanket has us wishing Dwell made one in our size.

If we had a wish list, we'd definitely add these two designer pieces: Nurseryworks' Loom Hutch $450.00, and Ducduc's Cabana Desk, $1,095.00.

And speaking of wish lists, Genius Jones also offers gift registry options and gift certificates.
