Started by a group of Rhode Island School of Design students, this design collaborative creates imaginative objects through the shared vision for a more sustainable future.

With the mission that social responsibility should not take second place to a good business model, this group of designers, now based out of Bainbridge Island, WA, works to create fashion and home decor related items from mostly raw and repurposed materials. With products like build-it-yourself modular screens made out of salvaged spools and off-gas free plastic shower curtains, the objects of Grain possess quality of design, eco-friendliness, and the added bonus of a portion of your proceeds going to envorinmental causes through 1% For The Planet.
