Gypsy Honeymoon

Gypsy Honeymoon was an appropriate choice for the name of this store because it is flat-out bizarre (and we mean that in the best way possible). Carrying mostly unique antiques from Europe, Gypsy Honeymoon peddles goods with a twist. For instance, when we asked what some of their best selling items were, the shopkeeper informed us that the antique (1930's) glass eyes from Germany just fly off the shelves. As do wax hands and feet. We were more interested in their French turn-of-the-century buffets, but there is something for everyone's odd side at Gypsy Honeymoon.

Personally, we can't get enough of vintage anatomy posters. Gypsy Honeymoon also has a bizarre selection of chandeliers that hang from every inch of the ceiling.

Along with antiques from Europe, the store also carries items with a bit of Asian flair. Make sure you open all the drawers, too. They keep extra inventory in there (like ribbons, hankies, and bonnets) as well.

We've always thought that a kitchen can't have too many unique looking storage containers, so you better believe we stocked up on these great looking distressed (naturally!) containers.

The shop's inventory is constantly changing, but they always have a wide variety of textiles (napkins, tablecloths, throws), taxidermy, and bone china.
