Store History

  • Headquarters: Brooklyn, NY

Mike is a furniture restorer and online shop owner based in Brooklyn. He scouts for mid-century pieces and refinishes them to collector's conditions. In his words, "We're not about the beat-up, knicked-up, drink ring, drawer-sticking, ripped-upholstery aesthetic."

Sure, you could find some of these things in a thrift store for less, but Mike argues that his selling point is an inventory of high-quality pieces in "optimal operating condition". That inventory can be browsed online or in his workshop by appointment. He also has an Etsy shop.

In addition to running the online shop, Mike offers restoration services and custom-built furniture, as well as prop rental. Personalized delivery is available in New York City, and you can request an estimate for in-person delivery if you live in the Northeastern corridor. Outside of NYC, contact the store for a shipping quote.
